Candace Amber Owens Farmer, a U.S. citizen was born in 1989 in Stamford Connecticut. She is a widely known Conservative and Republican activist, with a story worth recording and paying attention to. Although her political career started on a confused liberal side, around 2016 and 2017 Candace Owens experienced a drastic change, quickly turning her life around in support of Donald Trump, Conservatives, and the Republican party. She rightfully identified that, "Black Americans are doing worse off economically today than we were doing in the 1950s under Jim Crow", adding that this is because ‘we've only been voting for one party since then. The result of her passionate activism led her to speak at the one and only White House in presence of President Donald Trump.
This young black woman has faced racism, sexism, discrimination, and all kinds of adversities on her path. Still, she has stayed true to herself, has never been afraid to use her voice, to share her thoughts, and to do what she believes is best for America, especially for Black Conservatives like herself. In her recent book BLACKOUT, she describes her life’s journey for the common Americans to understand the importance of fighting for what you believe in.
